Internet Fraudulent damages the company's repuation

Internet fraud is viral at the present situation. One common form of internet fraud is phishing , a type of identity theft that uses deceptive e-mails and fraudulent websites to fool users into divulging their personal data. There are so many examples for fraudulent company. From my real life experience I have received many emails in terms of winning lottery and so on. One morning i was checking my emails and I saw that I won $1000000 and also it is from Google and saying that they put my Google account in email lottery. Furthermore, it has sign and logo and certificate as well. It was saying to give my details and purchase the prize , because after one week the date will be expired. There was another example from my real life. One  day I saw an email from my friend saying ," Hello! Good day " ! She never spoke like that ! So , anyway she was saying she is in Holland and got mugged and don't have money to come back home. I was like, when did she go to Holland and she did not tell me. Because I just spoke to her two days ago. It seemed fishy plus she was askin£500 . So I texetd her and then she told me it was spam and someone from USA hacked her email.

Furthermore , the hackers or the fraud ask people to log onto a provided Web address and confirm their account number , password and perhaps even other personal details. if people follow the instructions , they are actually turning this sensitive information over to criminals. Although, the consumers or the people are aware of such schemes, phising can be extremely costly to those caught in the net.

Those fraudulent schemes can damage the company. Also , it damages the brand identity of legitimate online marketers who have worked to build users confidence in Web and E-mail transactions. Moreover, many consumers seems to be worried about online security. The consumers fear the unscrupulous snoopers will eavesdrop on their online transactions . picking up personal information's on intercepting credit and debit cards number. As a result it damages the reputation of the company and also imagine someone lost a lot of money from the company which was hacked by hackers .That consumer will hesitate to go again and trust the companies .Also , word of mouth can destroy the companies reputation
