Studying Law ,is it worth it?

I heard a lot of complain after finishing the law school that people are not finding the job.I mean it looks good in the movies and the drama like "Suits" .But is that easy ? is it worth it? Choosing a career is one of the most important decision of life. And also by choosing it ,your whole life direction will depend on it.

The filed of law are dying at the moment and it is drying so fast. It is shrinking ,crumbling and dying vocational field. There are many reason for that. One of them are technology and advanced internet made our life so easier. A lot of people think that they can do their legal work by researching and people are doing though. Furthermore, there are a lot of companies out there making very efficient legal software for the field of law . So they don't have to hire any lawyers. Also , in order to get legal work done without the cost of an attorney , people buy those legal software. And there are so many legal professionals already including Attorneys/Lawyers, Paralegals, Legal Assistants , Legal Secretaries , Bailiffs , Court Reporters and so on.

There are so many graduates who struggle to find a job after spending too much money and huge amount of debt in their shoulder .Lets have a look at fees and expense , Shall we ? From a full time traditional university , it takes 3 to 4 years to complete normal law degree and it cost £27,000 and £36,000.Although it does not have to pay until their income above £21,000.But for international students it is more than that and they do not have any option for study loan in UK. Furthermore, the law students who want to practise solicitors or lawyers have to pay more postgraduate fees. Many graduates faces overall approximately £40,000 and also it before all other expenses which is ,accommodation, transport cost ,living fees.

Moreover, finding a job is so hard after graduation. A lot of people motivated by seeing that the figures of lawyers. But , that is not for everyone .As I said the market is shrinking and there are a lot competition already . According to Robert Ackerman , Dean and Professor of Law, Wayne State University Law School ," Do not apply to law school if money is your primary motivation. There are easier ways to make money. The law is a profession requiring hard work, intellectual ability and the desire to serve others" .If you are passionate to know about the law and help people then that is fine , excellent choice! Unfortunately , in order to making money , would be very hard to do so.

Choosing a career is hard and important decision in life. Plus everything is changing now and we are living in a world at the moment where machine is doing most of our job. Life is never easier and if you love to do the thing you are doing , please do not stop. But research it before making a decision and pursue that goal. If you follow the right direction , after a while eventually the success will come to meet you.
